Dr. Keith Robinson is the Founder of Health Media Network, and AlleyGrin Productions, LLC, two Houston-based media companies specializing in innovative professional communication techniques about health concepts for radio, print, television and platform presentations. Dr. Keith has hosted over 500 nationally syndicated health radio shows under the title America Talks Health with Dr. Keith Robinson. For years Dr. Keith was one of only 200 doctors worldwide this his unique training as a Crown and Bridge Specialist and a Maxillofacial Prosthodontist whose specialty focused on creating life-like artificial facial replacements for cancer and trauma victims. Dr. Robinson received his undergraduate degree from Drake University with a major in biology and an emphasis on communications and persuasive speaking.
During his training at Drake University, he conducted preliminary investigatory research in cooperation with the US Federal Drug Administration on the effects of LSD on the liver cell nucleus of mice. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Dentistry and after several years in private practice, he returned to academic study completing a hospital residency at the Wadsworth VA Medical Center in Los Angeles, and his cancer Fellowship as a Fellow of the American Cancer Society at the world famous University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer and Tumor Institute.
Dr. Robinson was a member of the Methodist Hospital Multi-Organ Transplant Team with Dr. Michael DeBakey, who wrote the forward to Dr. Robinson’s first book. (Growing Older with Your Teeth…or something like them!) He has lectured nationally and internationally on his specialty and on Creative ways of Dealing with Fear and Anger. Dr. Robinson is a Certified Crisis Chaplain (C.C.C.) (National Center for Crisis Management, NC-CM); a Diplomate in the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress (D.A.A.E.T.S.), and has been appointed as a Member of the Board of Professional Advisors for the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress (A.A.E.T.S). Additionally, Dr. Robinson has been deployed with the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team as a Chaplain in support of Samaritan’s Purse at locations where fires, floods, hurricanes and other natural disasters have been devastated.
Additionally, Dr. Robinson is known as The Doctor with Two Brains and uses his unique speaking ability to help traumatized young people better understand how the brain deals with traumatic images.
Dr. Robinson is a member of the American Screenwriters Association and the International Screenwriters Association and has written five movie scripts. In high school Dr. Keith was offered a professional singing contract with the St. Louis Municipal Opera has recorded a musical CD (The Stages of Our Love) with his long time singing partner and performed live musical theater across.
Dr. Robinson appeared on radio, television and in the print media across America as national spokesperson for Proctor & Gamble. Dr. Robinson and his partner Co-produced a television documentary titled, The Brutal Truth: A violence Documentary which has been awarded three Emmy’s by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. The second film in the series was not only Co-Produced by Dr. Keith and his media partner but was also hosted by Dr. Keith. (The Brutal Truth: Protecting the Family from Violence). This film aired multiple times and has been used in educating the public about child abuse prevention and was nominated for a 2006 Emmy.
Dr. Robinson brings a positive and uplifting approach to helping audiences understand creative, new ways to deal with angry people. Audiences will leave his presentations with new skills for some of the most difficult communication problems facing people in the workforce … and in the home.
